The annual assessment has a timer of 60 minutes, which begins as soon as you start your annual assessment and will count down during your attempt.

If you happen to run out of time and the timer hits 00:00, your attempt will automatically finish and your score will be calculated.

It may be that you either did not complete enough questions, or failed to answer enough correctly so your attempt will automatically be marked as a ‘fail’. In this case, you’ll either be issued a resit or need to purchase a new assessment.

If you did answer enough questions and also got enough correct, then this will be recorded as a ‘pass’ even if you ran out of time and didn’t manage to completely finish.
