What does a red status indicate?
A red indicator highlights that:
- The equipment’s calibration date has expired, or
- A calibration record has not been uploaded to MOT Juice
Why this matters
Keeping your equipment properly calibrated is essential for:
- MOT compliance
- Passing DVSA inspections
- Ensuring accurate test results
How to fix it
To resolve a red status, you need to update the calibration record for that equipment:
- Log in to your MOT Juice account
- Go to Staff & Equipment > MOT Equipment
- Select the equipment showing as red
- Click the green 'Calibrate Now' button
- Upload the calibration information and certificate/document

Make sure you upload calibration documents as soon as your equipment is calibrated. This keeps your records accurate and helps avoid equipment showing as red.
