The annual MOT tester assessment is to be done every year.

The DVSA change the topics of the assessment each year meaning no 2 years are ever the same. Having to complete an assessment each year means all MOT testers are able to demonstrate their ongoing understanding of the MOT scheme and that they are up-to-date with any new changes.
